Who writes RentGPU
RentGPU is edited by Vi Nguyen. Every article carries a byline and both a published and a last-updated date. We update the date only when the substance of an article changes — not to make it look fresh.
Data first, opinions labelled
- Prices, specifications and throughput figures come from our database, which is filled by the collectors described in the methodology. Numbers shown in articles are rendered live from that database, so they stay current after publication.
- Judgements ("best for", "avoid for", recommendations) are the editor's, based on the data and on documented provider features. They are written as opinions and can be challenged.
- We don't publish a page for a GPU or model we have nothing useful to say about. Catalog pages without live prices or enough information stay out of search engines until they do.
How rankings work
Providers are sorted by price — the lowest median hourly rate for the GPU in question — and nothing else. Leaderboards use the published benchmark weights shown on each leaderboard page. Placement cannot be bought, and affiliate status is never an input to any sort order.
How we make money
- Affiliate links. Some "Launch" and "Sign up" buttons are affiliate links; if you sign up through one, the provider may pay us a referral fee at no cost to you. Providers without an affiliate program are listed and ranked exactly the same way.
- Advertising. Display ads (Google AdSense, Cointraffic) are clearly labelled "Ad" and kept separate from editorial content. Advertisers have no say over what we write.
- We don't accept payment for reviews, rankings or coverage.
Use of AI tools
We use AI writing tools to help draft and edit some articles. Every figure in an article comes from our own data, and every article is reviewed, fact-checked against that data, and edited before it is published. We don't publish unreviewed machine-generated text.
Corrections
If you find a wrong price, a mislabelled GPU, or an outdated claim, use the contact form or email [email protected]. Data errors are fixed at the source so every page using that number is corrected at once; substantive corrections to an article are noted in the article and its updated date changes.
Independence from providers
Providers can ask us to correct their listing or to be added, and we welcome it — but they can't review, approve or edit anything we publish about them.
